Icon of the Seas, the largest cruise ship ever has her first journey with passengers on 27 January 2024. The Royal Caribbean Icon is a new type of Cruise ship and 5 times bigger than the historical Titanic Ship. The family-friendly 20-deck high cruise ship is able to hold around 10 thousand passengers including 2350 crew members. 18 of the 20-deck ship is for passengers and 2 decks are for crews. This floating giant haven costs around $2 billion ($1.6 billion according to their agreement) which comes in at 250,800 tons.

Icon of the Seas capacity and size:
It’s easy to imagine the size of the ship nearly 5 times bigger than the Titanic. This makes her the world’s largest cruise ship ever. She is 1198 feet (365 meters) long and has a gross weight of 250,800 metric tons. There are a total of 20 decks and 18 of them are used for the guests and 2 for the crew. She can carry a maximum of 7600 guests and has her 2350 crew members at a total of around 10 thousand.
You might be thinking a ten thousand people on a cruise ship would be a crowded place. But the reality is different with her design of the different areas of the ship. There are 30+ restaurants, a big neighborhood, a bar area, water slides, and so on to make their guests full of enjoyment.
Chill Island:
Pool:
The chill island is a relaxing area of the ship on the 15-17 decks. There are 7 different pools and the Royal Bay is the largest at sea. you can choose a new pool every day of the week. The next-level ocean views from the pool will make your mood infinity.
The Lime and Coconut:
The Lime and Coconut, a pool deck concept is one of the major drink bars at the ship. Lime and coconut which actually the names of a drink. This is worth checking out of the other drinks you have. Among the other drinks, I found it a little bit better and available in three different decks.
El Loco Fresh:
El Loco Fresh is a complementary dining area of the Chill Island area. The best part of the fact that it’s Mexican food which love. There are also topping stations where you can customize it for yourself or your kids. It’s really easy to do and can grab your idea. As you are not going to sit down there like a restaurant you can also grab some chips add some salsa and back to the pool beach chair to enjoy them.
Cove Pool:
Cove Pool is a new type of pool area which is in water loungers. It’s an infinity edge cool pool and h something a little bit different beautiful scenery that going as past you and enjoys being out in the sun. That’s a great idea I loved especially the way to be in the water but not in the water but still be you know cooled off a little bit.
Sprinkles:
Next, you’re going to find sprinkles on the soft serve complimentary ice cream on the icon, and sprinkles. There are a couple of locations here’s one in Shill Island and the idea is that you just get as much ice cream as you want to buy. It’s a soft serve and it’s a real win with everybody. I think It’s always recommended sprinkles for the kids.
Here you are going to find a Ping-Pong table in the chill area. This is actually for the teens to have fun but you can also try to back to your childhood.
Swim & Tonic:
Swim and Tonic is a bar pool combination venue. It’s usually for adults to have fun and drink. As I don’t like alcohol, I’m not so far interested in this area. But you may find a huge interest in it.
Cloud 17:
Cloud 17 is another pool tucked away on the top deck. It’s a whirlpool and private access with the Lime coconut bar. It’s a little quieter place for spending quality time. The overlooking ocean views make your mind in another clime.
Thrill Island:
